Logistics & Customs Executive

Responsibilities:

• Record and update shipment information in the daily logistics log.

• Monitor shipment status to ensure cargo from overseas suppliers is delivered to final destinations across Vietnam according to schedule.

• Communicate with freight forwarders to negotiate competitive quotations and arrange flight/vessel bookings based on cargo readiness provided by shippers.

• Review and manage all documentation submitted by shippers to ensure compliance with Customs requirements.

• Work closely with the sales team to determine and assign Vietnamese product names, HS codes, import duties, and customs valuation for declaration purposes.

• Coordinate with customs brokers on customs declaration procedures and address any inquiries from Customs authorities.

• Liaise with insurance providers when necessary.

• Collaborate with domestic trucking services to deliver goods to end customers.

• Verify and reconcile logistics costs from freight forwarders and trucking services at month-end.

• Ensure accurate and well-organized record keeping of certificates and documentation (CO/CQ).

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Energetic, friendly and professional.

• Certification/ Graduation in Economics, Foreign, Foreign Trade, Sales, or relevant field are a plus.

• Must be detail-oriented & good English communication.

• Have experience in importing, customs clearance.

• At least 5 years working experience, priority candidates worked in industrial fields such as pipe, valves, steel, piping fitting, instruments.
