We are looking for potential candidates who are willing to work as an R&D Engineer (Technical Regulation) at R&D Center - Panasonic Appliances Vietnam.

JOB DETAILS:

- Working hour: From 8 a.m to 4:45 p.m.

- Working location: Thang Long II Industrial Zone, Hung Yen (daily shuttle bus from Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong & Hung Yen).

OVERALL: Be responsible for ensuring that home appliance products, including Washing Machines and Dryers, comply with applicable technical regulations, standards, and certification requirements in global markets. The role involves managing regulatory compliance, coordinating product certifications, conducting compliance evaluations and testing, driving corrective actions for non-compliant products, and providing regular reports to support product development and business objectives.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Task 1: Technical Regulations and Standards

- Manage technical regulations and standards for Washing Machines, Dryers, and other appliance products.

- Monitor regulatory changes and provide compliance support throughout product development.

Task 2: Product Certification Management

- Manage product certification activities and ensure compliance with Safety, EMC, RF, Energy Efficiency, RoHS, ICT, and sustainability requirements in global markets.

Task 3: Compliance Evaluation and Testing

- Conduct compliance testing and evaluations based on applicable regulations and standards.

- Raise and track design improvement requests to address non-compliance issues.

Task 4: Reporting

- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on regulatory, certification, and compliance activities for management review.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in areas of Engineering/Technology discipline, or in other acceptable areas like Business Administration, Public Administration, or English Linguistics etc.

- Experience: No requirement of experience, but experienced candidates are also welcomed.

- Knowledge & Skills:

+ Good logical thinking is preferred.

+ Be of integrity, accountability, enthusiasm, with strong teamwork spirit.

+ Good at Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

+ Good at problem solving skills.

+ Good at time management.

- Language: Good English communication skills (written and spoken); Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage.
