Korean IT Comtor (BI Reporting Project)

As the Korean IT Comtor for this reporting project, you will bridge the linguistic and technical gap between Korean stakeholders and the technical project team. Core duties include:

• Meeting Interpretation (On-Demand / Scheduled): Attend pre-scheduled project meetings, sprint reviews, requirement-gathering sessions, and status updates to provide accurate interpretation between Korean stakeholders and the local project team.

• Requirement Clarification: Help the development team fully understand complex data definitions, layout preferences, and KPI metrics requested by Korean stakeholders for the report building project.

• Document & Report Translation: Translate essential project documentation, including BI functional specs, dashboard layout requirements, data definitions, and regular progress reports (English/Vietnamese ↔ Korean).

• Communication Bridge: Facilitate clear, prompt communication and clarify any technical ambiguities regarding report metrics or data structures requested by Korean stakeholders.

• Quality & Terminology Assurance: Ensure accurate translation of IT, database, and BI terminology (e.g., data warehouse, ETL, dashboards, SQL queries, visualizations) to prevent miscommunication during development.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluent in Korean (TOPIK Level 5–6 or native-level fluency) and English Language.

• Strong command of professional business Korean and technical terminology.

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as an IT Comtor, IT Translator/Interpreter, or IT Project Coordinator.

• Prior experience working on data warehousing, or BI (Business Intelligence) reporting projects is a strong advantage.

Technical Understanding:

• Basic understanding of IT workflows, database structures, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL) to effectively translate technical concepts.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Able to handle high-pressure environments and fast-paced project timelines.
