IT & Systems Technician

The IT & Systems Technician is responsible for delivering reliable, secure and efficient technology services across MyTeam.

Acting as the first point of contact for internal IT support, the role ensures employees have the technology, systems and access required to perform their work effectively. Working closely with external IT and cybersecurity partners, the position supports Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, hardware lifecycle, user onboarding, cybersecurity compliance and continual improvement of business systems.

This role plays an important part in strengthening MyTeam's digital workplace and supporting the company's continued growth.

End User Support

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to all employees.
• Resolve technical issues across hardware, software and Microsoft 365.
• Manage support requests through the Login ticketing platform.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication throughout ticket resolution.

User & Device Management

• Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding and system access.
• Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, security groups and licences.
• Manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain accurate hardware asset registers and lifecycle records.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID.
• Assist with permissions, authentication and identity management.
• Maintain user access based on company security policies.

Infrastructure & Office Technology

• Support office networking, printers and meeting room technology.
• Assist with VPN, firewall and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate procurement, warranty claims and replacement of IT equipment.
• Support office expansions and new office setup.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Monitor endpoint compliance and security posture.
• Assist with implementation of cybersecurity controls.
• Coordinate with external cybersecurity providers.
• Ensure compliance with company IT and cybersecurity policies.
• Support security awareness initiatives.

Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
• Recommend technology improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

• Strong experience supporting Windows desktop and laptop environments.
• Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Intune device management and endpoint compliance.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy administration.
• Firewall, VPN and network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with RMM and ticketing platforms.
• Hardware diagnostics, repair coordination and asset lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
• Understanding of backup, business continuity and disaster recovery principles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
