JOB SUMMARY
Support MES and server operations, troubleshoot system issues, perform basic maintenance, and assist in system optimization to ensure stable production IT infrastructure.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and support MES operations and manufacturing data processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot MES and server-related issues through system and IPC logs.
- Perform basic system and server maintenance tasks (e.g., patching, reboots, configurations).
- Develop or enhance MES tools and interfaces using development languages (e.g., C#, Java).
- Support database activities (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) including writing or debugging queries and stored procedures.
- Assist in the secondary development of system integration tools (e.g., Kepware).
- Collaborate with the operations and engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Provide documentation such as user manuals, process flows, and development logs.
- Train junior staff or end-users as needed.
- Participate in project implementations and system upgrade activities.
- Be available for shift work, including night shifts, based on production or system maintenance schedules.
- Ad-hoc jobs required by Direct Manager or Dept. Head.
Working time: 1 week night shift, 1 week day shift
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
At least 1 years experienced in relevant job
Knowledge
- MES platforms, manufacturing IT systems, and factory floor operations.
- Development and integration tools: Visual Studio, DevExpress, Kepware.
- Industrial business logic: material traceability, batch control, process flow.
Functional Skills
- Proficient in database languages and tools: PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Programming skills: C#/.NET, Java.
- Experience with system frameworks and documentation practices.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server/system faults.
- Can basic listening reading and writing in English
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, Outlook, especially excellent in Excel)
- Ability to deal with all members of an organization
- Helpful and friendly demeanor. Ability to stay calm under pressure
Other Abilities
- Familiarity with open-source technologies is a plus.
*Working Location: Tan Phu Trung - IZ. Shuttle bus from HCM, Binh Duong and Dong Nai are available.
