Indirect Buyer (Manufacturing only)

YOUR ROLE

As a Buyer, you will manage purchasing activities to support production and business operations, ensuring timely supply of materials, cost competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects, optimize supply chain performance, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage purchasing activities for assigned materials and suppliers

• Coordinate supply chain activities between suppliers, logistics, finance, and internal stakeholders

• Work closely with program managers and engineering teams to support project requirements and sourcing plans

• Support material planning and inventory optimization to achieve inventory turn targets

• Develop and execute purchasing plans for new product introductions (NPI)

• Identify and drive cost savings initiatives and supplier performance improvements

• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking for commodities and services

• Develop and maintain purchasing procedures and work instructions

• Ensure alignment with global purchasing strategies, policies, and processes

• Establish strong communication with regional and global commodity teams

• Drive localization initiatives to support supply chain efficiency and cost optimization

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

• Comply with EHS policies and support site EHS objectives and targets

• Ensure compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and legal requirements

• Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible working environment

• Identify, report, and follow up on unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards

• Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions

• Promote safety awareness, safe behaviour, and continuous EHS improvement

Yêu cầu công việc

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost control

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, finance)

• Familiar with inventory planning and supply chain coordination

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
