1. Supply Chain Ownership & Commercial Impact

• Own end-to-end demand planning, procurement, import/export, logistics, warehousing, inventory and order fulfilment, backed by scalable SOPs and controls.

• Maintain sufficient inventory to support Sales/Commercial targets without excessive stock or working-capital exposure.

• Partner with Sales & Finance to translate approved forecasts into commercially responsible procurement plans; evaluate decisions by their impact on revenue, gross margin, working capital and net profit.

• Identify measurable cost-saving and margin-improvement opportunities across procurement, freight, warehousing and fulfilment.

• Resolve operational issues within approved authority without unnecessary escalation.

2. Demand Planning & S&OP

• Lead the monthly S&OP process; review and challenge forecasts by SKU, customer and channel using historical performance and sell-out data.

• Maintain rolling demand/supply/inventory projections and flag stock-out, excess-inventory or cash-flow risks early, aligning procurement with approved business plans.

3. Procurement, Supplier & Inventory Management

• Lead sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation (pricing, payment terms, MOQ, lead times, service levels) and PO execution; maintain approved suppliers, contracts and performance records.

• Own inventory health and productivity: levels, ageing/near-expiry/obsolete stock, accuracy (cycle counts/stocktakes), and action plans with Sales for excess stock.

• Work with Finance to reduce unnecessary working capital tied up in inventory.

4. Import/Export, Logistics & Compliance

• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics (air, sea and other modes) and manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and logistics providers.

• Ensure timely customs clearance and compliant shipment/product-registration documentation, with proper document controls and audit trails; escalate material regulatory risks.

• Monitor and optimize freight cost, detention/demurrage, routes and shipment consolidation.

5. Cost, Risk & Business Continuity

• Own Supply Chain cost efficiency and continuously improve landed cost, evaluating savings by total business impact rather than unit price alone.

• Identify supplier, logistics, customs, inventory and compliance risks; maintain contingency plans and develop alternative suppliers/logistics options to reduce dependence on any single partner.

6. Team Leadership & Department Ownership

• Lead, coach and develop the existing three-person Supply Chain team (SC Operations, SC Performance & Import/Export, SC Compliance & Procurement), with clear responsibility and decision authority at each level.

• Set measurable commercial and operational KPIs, delegate routine execution, build cross-training/backup capabilities, and identify capability gaps for training or future recruitment.

• Build a culture of ownership, urgency, accountability and continuous improvement.

• Strong experience in FM

• Strong experience in FMCG, consumer goods, food, retail distribution or related industries.

• Proven leadership across supply planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory.

• Strong commercial and financial understanding; able to interpret P&L, gross margin, landed cost and working-capital implications.

• Strong supplier and logistics negotiation skills.

• Required: hands-on experience managing import/export operations, including customs clearance, cross-border logistics and Vietnam import/export licensing and documentation.

• Data-driven, decisive and comfortable taking ownership; proven ability to lead and develop an existing team rather than personally controlling every task.

• Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
