Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage our company’s SC and Beneficial Cargo Owner’s accounts, focusing on pricing & AP management. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with shipping lines and coloaders to oversee freight rates, space allocation, and sales management for US-bound cargo. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong service mindset to support sales and customer service teams effectively.

• Manage and monitor freight rates and space availability for US-bound cargo in collaboration with shipping lines and co-loaders.

• Oversee sales management activities related to nominated cargo bound for the US market.

• Provide timely and accurate freight rate information to the sales team to support business development efforts.

• Act as a key point of contact for the customer service team by proactively addressing space and operational issues.

• Facilitate smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient cargo movement.

• Maintain up-to-date records and reports related to freight rates, space bookings, and operational status.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and customer satisfaction.

• Having strong communication skills as the role involves negotiating and maintaining good relationships with shipping companies, as well as effective communication with the internal OP team.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in pricing roles within the logistics industry, OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service roles to TP bound at liner shipping companies or logistics companies (one of these is mandatory).

• Proven track record in managing freight rates, space allocation, and supply chain coordination specifically for US-bound cargo.

• Understanding of the US logistics market is highly preferred.

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
