Compile safety programs.
Provide information and guidance to Site Managers and staff on obligation in respect of occupational health and safety, ensuring consistency across all locations where construction activities are undertaken.
Practice safe working techniques.
Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.
Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.
Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctly.
Promote safety initiatives.
Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.
Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.
Ensure timely completion of incident/ accident/ injury report, undertake incident and accident investigations, providing root cause and performance trend analysis, and recommend appropriate risk and hazard management strategies.
Perform construction site safety compliance inspections and audits, including hazard analysis and safe work procedures, with written reports and recommendations for action.
Regularly inspect equipment.
Lead on daily safety tool box talks
Compile and Prepare Project Reports - weekly and monthly
* Requirements:
A Bachelor or College Degree in Health – Safety – Environment major
At least 3-year experience in HSE role.
Intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English
Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
Valid competency certificates.
Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.
Strong communication, self directed and analytical skills.
