General Manager

Position Summary:

The role is responsible for leading business development, sales and operational management for the Subang Jaya, Malaysia, branch, ensuring alignment with Everok Group’s strategic goals and headquarters directives. This position serves as the primary liaison between the company and local stakeholders, while overseeing internal teams to ensure compliance, efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve branch sales KPIs and management objectives.

- Manage and maintain relationships with local carriers, airlines, suppliers and booking agents. Ensure adherence to directives from headquarters and establish effective internal control mechanisms.

- Build and lead the branch’s business development team, plan and coordinate sales initiatives, and collaborate with headquarters to manage both sales and operations teams.

- Oversee daily operational and administrative functions of the branch to ensure efficiency and compliance.

- Act as the primary liaison between Everok Group and local customers, partners and agents.

What Will Make You Successful

- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a minimum of **5 years of experience** in sales and team management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

- Strong knowledge of the Vietnam logistics, export, and import markets. Candidates with an extensive local network and an existing customer base in the logistics industry are highly preferred.

- Excellent market insight, organizational and leadership skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

- Strong understanding of the digital freight forwarding industry and emerging market trends.

- Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.

- Fluency in Vietnamese is required. Good command of English is preferred. Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) will be considered a strong advantage.

- Vietnamese nationals/local candidates currently residing and legally authorized to work in Vietnam only.
