General Accountant (Good English Skills required)

Position Overview

There is no denying the importance of a Senior Accountant to a business. At TRG, you are one of the key players in our very vital department. Your responsibilities are more than just crunching numbers. We have a team of reliable accountants, and your scope of work will be Senior Accountant with a focus on Sales Commission Calculation, Cash Flow Forecasting, Accounts Receivable Management, and Budget Planning. You will report to the Financial Controller and Chief Accountant. We believe you possess a high level of integrity, and honesty, and are a professional when handling the confidential data of both TRG and our clients.

What you'll do

Sales Commission Calculation

- Calculate monthly sales commissions in accordance with approved commission policies.

- Prepare commission reports and obtain required approvals.

- Sales Forecasting

- Prepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts.

- Work closely with Sales and Project teams to validate pipeline assumptions and forecast accuracy.

Cash Flow Forecasting

- Update monthly cash flow forecasts.

- Coordinate with Sales teams to ensure forecast assumptions are accurate and up to date.

- Revenue Recognition & Project Cut-off

- Review project status and supporting documents to ensure proper revenue and cost cut-off.

- Coordinate with Project Managers during month-end and year-end closing.

Accounts Receivable Management

- Monitor customer outstanding balances and collection status.

- Prepare and issue dunning letters to customers with overdue balances.

- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and management requests.

Budget Planning

- Support the annual budgeting process by coordinating with department heads to collect, review, and consolidate budget inputs.

- Prepare annual operating budgets and periodic budget forecasts.

- Monitor actual performance against budget and analyze variances.

- Back up for other accountants within the accounting team when needed

- Complete other accounting-related requirements from the Chief Accountant, Financial Controller, and Board of Directors

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a major in Finance – Accounting

- At least 3 years of relevant experience

- Ability to catch up with new systems quickly and solid experience in using spreadsheets or accounting software

- High level of work ethic, accuracy, and responsibility

- Proactiveness and the ability to work independently

- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and high attention to details

- Solid knowledge in Accounting, Information Technology or related disciplines

- Strong at speaking and writing in English
