Game Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Game Developer to create the user interface and interactive elements of a video game, develop game clients and game engines for the Interactive department. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Functional:

• Developing and maintaining common game features.
• Diagnose and recommend optimizations for games to improve performance at scale and memory management.
• Develop tools, frameworks and common libraries to improve the game development process.
• Work on maintaining social iOS and Android apps.
• Experienced in establishing UI/UX development processes for real-time, casual, or multiplayer interactive games.
• Organize clear workflows, proficiently use management tools such as Jira, Git, and Confluence to ensure smooth transitions between development stages.
• Mentor and train Junior Developers on game development logic and graphics optimization (rendering, layering, etc.).
• Manage sprint schedules, resolve conflicts, allocate tasks effectively, and maintain positive motivation within the technical team.

2. Organizational strategy:

• Abide by and uphold all Company core values, policies and procedures. Help make sure that the Organization’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
• Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the Organization.
• Analyze requirements from the Game Design Document (GDD) and propose suitable architecture.
• Actively handle production incidents, trace logs, identify root causes, and deploy quick solutions.
• Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Employee by the Company which may be adjusted from time to time.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in game development with Cocos Creator and Unity, and able to custom cocos engine is a plus
• Experienced in iOS, Android native plugin.
• Experienced in Turn Base Game Development.
• Experienced in optimizing game assets based on devices.
• Experienced in implementing animation, tweening, motion effects, and asset optimization (atlas, lazy-load, etc.).
• Able to implement CI/CD pipelines for game frontend, optimizing build, deployment, and testing time. 
• Knowledge of client-side security in games (obfuscation, input validation, asset protection, etc.)
• Familiar with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Proficient in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
• Great communication and team-building abilities.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly.
