Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/ React. Js)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining mobile/web applications under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features and improvements.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.

• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.

• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability and stability.

• Contribute to API integration, database operations, and frontend/backend development tasks.

• Support software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Continuously improve technical skills by learning new technologies and industry best practices.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with the engineering team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of professional experience (fresh graduates with strong personal/academic projects are welcome).

Required Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.

• Basic Python — able to read and make small, guided changes to existing services.

• Comfortable writing and debugging SQL queries against PostgreSQL.

• Some experience with cloud/serverless deployment platforms (Vercel, GCP) or a clear willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Supabase or a similar Postgres-as-a-service platform.

• Has written automated tests as part of a real project, not only coursework.

• Some exposure to structured logging or monitoring tools.

Core Competencies

• Growing independence — handles clearly scoped work end-to-end with light review.

• Speaks up early when blocked or unsure, rather than guessing silently on something customer-facing.

• Detail-oriented on verification — confirms a fix actually works in production before calling it done.

• Fluent in Vietnamese; working-level English for documentation and communication.
