Job Description

• Build and extend our web applications with a clean, testable architecture.

• Design responsive, fast interfaces for tablets and phones used on the floor — by therapists and reception, in Vietnamese and German.

• Implement and harden backend APIs handling scheduling, payroll and financial data with strict role and tenant scopin.

• Integrate AI models into product workflows — where AI is the backbone of the architecture, not a feature on top.

• Own verification: every slice you deliver comes with passing tests, a browser smoke run and a self-critical done report — you prove it works, we don't take "tests green" on faith.

A. Frontend

• Modern JavaScript (ES2020+), async/await, fetch, typed API clients matching the backend schema, SPA, PWA.

• HTML5 / CSS3, responsive layout, tablet-first for on-floor use.

• Vitest for unit tests, Playwright for end-to-end (headed and headless).

• Brand / design-system layer, multi-language UI (vi / de).

B. Data Management

• SQL, NoSQL, sync in-memory, O2O offline – online.

• Role-based access control, multi-tenancy, large scale, Big Data.

• Event-driven data flows feeding AI-based predictions.

C. Backend, Data/ Deployment

• NodeJS, Python, JWT, Git.

• Firebase, Railway.

• API design, third-party integrations, embeds.

D. AI-Driven Development

• Orchestrating AI coding agents in our own AI development environment: specs in, slices out, review and verify.

• Working from Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and slice specs — you read them, question them, and write them.

• Integrating LLM calls into backend workflows: prompt design, structured JSON outputs, evaluation.

• Understanding the failure modes — hallucination, sycophancy, unverified "done" — and building the gates that catch them.

E. Nice to Have

• PWA / offline-tolerant UI for unreliable spa Wi-Fi.

• UI/UX sense, ability to work from mockups faithfully.

• Security awareness: XSS prevention, auth edge cases (401 vs 403), CORS.

• Performance tuning mindset.

• Experience in beauty, health, spa, salon, clinic or POS domains.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2+ years of full-stack web development experience — NodeJS, Python, HTML5, CSS, JS in production.

• Strong logical thinking and fast, structured problem-solving.

• Honest reporting: you say what is verified, what is assumed and what is open — no "should work".

• Willingness to work AI-native: you have used AI coding tools seriously, or you are eager to make them your primary way of building.

• English: working proficiency, written and spoken (daily communication with the founder).

• Slices, not sprints. Work is cut into slices with a written spec; a slice is DONE only when it passes our 7 DONE-Gates (green test suite against real Postgres, browser smoke, reproducible setup, end-to-end architecture checks, layout truth, and a self-critical done report).

• Decisions are written. Architecture lives in ADRs. If you disagree, you write it down and we discuss it.

• Speed with brakes. AI lets us build fast; verification is what lets us ship. We expect both.
