Fulfillment Team Lead - Supply Chain Operations (Total Annual Compensation Up-To 50,000 USD)

As the Fulfillment Team Lead, you will own Crossian's fulfillment operations end-to-end — inventory management, 3PL warehouse operations in China, and cross-border logistics delivering parcels from China to US customers across our D2C business and marketplace channels (Amazon, Walmart). You will keep inventory lean while strengthening fulfillment capability, ensure on-time delivery at optimal cost, expand our fulfillment channels and markets, and act as Business Owner for fulfillment-related features of our SCM system.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1/ Inventory Management

- Own inventory health across the network: develop and execute inventory strategies that minimize inventory surplus (overstock, aging, holding costs) while strengthening fulfillment capability and stock availability.

- Set and monitor inventory KPIs (aging, surplus/slow-moving ratio) and drive actions from the insights.

- Co-own replenishment planning with the Production Team Lead to keep stock levels aligned with demand.

2/ Fulfillment & Logistics Operations

- Manage 3PL warehouse operations in China: inbound, storage, outbound, and warehouse performance/SLA management.

- Manage cross-border logistics partners for China-to-US parcel shipping; ensure on-time delivery performance at optimal shipping cost.

- Monitor and resolve fulfillment issues end-to-end with internal teams, 3PLs, and carriers.

3/ Channel & Market Expansion

- Expand fulfillment capability to new channels: build and operate fulfillment for marketplace channels (Amazon, Walmart), meeting each platform's fulfillment and inventory placement requirements.

- Evaluate and develop fulfillment solutions for new markets and shipping lanes, applying international logistics knowledge (customs, compliance, carrier networks, last-mile options).

4/ Profit Optimization

- Optimize fulfillment cost per order (warehousing, last-mile, packaging) without compromising delivery performance.

- Lead Risk and Loss (RAL) mitigation initiatives across the fulfillment chain (lost parcels, delays, inventory discrepancies, surplus write-offs).

5/ System Development (as Business Owner)

- Act as Business Owner for fulfillment-related SCM system features.

- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption.

6/ Team Leadership & Growth

Manage, mentor, and grow the fulfillment team; drive recruitment and development paths.

7/ Process Optimization

Identify inefficiencies in fulfillment workflows and lead continuous improvement projects.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

- Solid knowledge of international logistics: cross-border shipping, customs & trade compliance, carrier networks, and last-mile delivery.

- Proven ability to expand fulfillment channels and markets (D2C, marketplaces such as Amazon/Walmart, new geographies).

- Strong planning capability: inventory & replenishment planning, capacity planning, and execution follow-through.

- Data analytics & visualization skills (Excel/Sheets, BI tools); data-driven decision-making mindset.

- Experience in fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations — cross-border e-commerce logistics is a strong plus.

- Project management skills (planning, execution, follow-up).

- Experience working with software development as Business Owner / Product Owner / PM (competitive advantage).

- Strong leadership & people management capabilities.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
