Financial Sector Consulting - IT & Innovation Intern

About the role

You will participate in delivering activities related to strategic data governance, AI, digital transformation, and technology consulting projects, including:

• Analyzing and developing Data Governance frameworks & policy

• Analyzing and developing Data marts and Domain-based data quality management

• Analyzing and developing AI Strategy and Advanced Analytics

• Assessing the transformation strategy for core IT systems of the Bank such as Core Banking, credit management systems (LOS, Debt Collection, EWS, ...), and governance, risk, and compliance systems (GRC), as well as internal document management, knowledge management, capital calculation systems, and regulatory compliance measurement aligned with circulars and advanced standards (Basel III, IFRS9)

• Designing, developing, and implementing capital calculation and compliance software based on KPMG’s Proprietary methodology

Your responsibilities include supporting consulting work and preparing documentation such as:

• Proposals

• Assessment reports

• Frameworks / Operating models

• Implementation of roadmaps

• BRDs, Test plans, and Test cases

• Data analysis

• Preparing presentation slides and workshop materials for clients

You will be required to continuously study and research materials, giving you opportunities to access, learn, and explore global solutions and international standards, including:

• KPMG’s global frameworks and standards

• DAMA-DMBOK

• AI Governance / Responsible AI

• Benchmarking technology indicators and solutions in the financial sector

• Foundational knowledge on systems and enterprise architecture

• University graduate in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics Informatics, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or other related fields.

• Final-year undergraduate students (intern position) or candidates with postgraduate qualifications are preferred.

• Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills.

• Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.

• Demonstrates a “can do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly.

• Proficient in English for reading, writing, research, and communication purposes.
