Factory Operations Manager

• Manage the Factory Operational team of 60 ~ 100 people (Production, Engineering, Quality, DC, Safety and HR).

• Collaborate with inter-departments to deliver the financial results (Finance, IT, Commerce, Purchasing).

A. Safety Leadership

• Champion a Safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements and ISO 14001 standards.

• Lead risk management, incident prevention, audits, continuous safety improvement and drive environmental initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency and sustainability programs).

B. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with legal, customer, certification, and company requirements.

• Maintain audit readiness and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with effectiveness tracking.

• Ensure documentation and process controls meet quality management system requirements.

C. Operations Performance

• Deliver production, technical, quality, delivery, and cost targets and commitments.

• Optimize manpower, materials, equipment, capacity, and OEE to maximize efficiency.

• Drive process improvement, sustainability and data-driven decision making.

• Manage factory operating plan, capacity plan, manpower plan, budget and regular performance review.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence initiatives.

• Daily management, visual management, standard work, 5S, Kaizen, line balancing, problem solving, waste reduction and shopfloor discipline.

D. Quality & Customer Satisfaction

• Ensure products consistently meet customer and company quality standards.

• Drive defect reduction, yield improvement, root-cause analysis, problem solving, and successful new product implementation.

• Act as escalation point for major quality or customer issues.

E. People Leadership

• Develop a high-performing, engaged, and capable workforce.

• Coach, train, motivate people while building succession and continuous learning capabilities.

• Champion the organization's happy workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Additional Note: State that the role is primarily based at Hung Yen factory and requires regular shopfloor presence.

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in an operations leadership role.

• Experience in flexible packaging or related industries is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence principles.

• Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation skills.

• Good command of English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.

• Change management, Project management skills.
