Factory Director - Long An Factory

Position Overview

The Factory Director will be responsible for leading the establishment, development, and overall operation of the manufacturing facility in Long An.

This position plays a critical role in building a world-class manufacturing organization by designing operating systems, establishing organizational structures, developing operational capabilities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all factory functions.

The successful candidate will possess strong experience in factory setup,

manufacturing operations, Lean Management, and organizational development within multinational manufacturing environments.

The role oversees all key factory functions including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, Facilities, and Plant Human Resources to ensure operational excellence, scalability, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Leadership & Operations

• Lead the overall performance of the factory, ensuring alignment between business objectives, operational capability, and manufacturing execution.

• Drive productivity, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and operational

discipline across all factory functions.

Factory Setup & Systems Development

• Establish and continuously improve the factory operating model, including

organizational structure, governance mechanisms, management systems, operating procedures, and performance frameworks.

• Build scalable manufacturing capabilities to support future expansion and

business growth.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiatives across the

factory to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

• Develop a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven

decision making.

Engineering & Manufacturing Capability

• Lead engineering, automation, digitalization, industrial engineering, process

optimization, and plant layout initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance

and competitiveness.

• Ensure manufacturing systems remain efficient, scalable, and aligned with longterm business requirements.

Organization & Talent Development

• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team capable of sustaining

operational excellence and supporting future growth.

• Drive capability development, succession planning, and organizational

effectiveness across the factory.

Strategic Contribution

• Partner with senior leadership on factory expansion, operational transformation, investment planning, and manufacturing strategy.

• Provide recommendations that strengthen productivity, competitiveness, and

long-term operational capability

Yêu cầu công việc

• Preference given to candidates aged 40 - 45, Vietnamese candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in senior factory leadership positions.

• Proven experience in factory setup, plant expansion, operational transformation, or manufacturing system development.

• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Six Sigma, PMP or equivalent methodologies.

• Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing organizations covering Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and Human Resources.

• Strong systems-thinking capability with the ability to design and implement sustainable operating models.

• Professional English communication skills and experience working within multinational environments.
