Facilities Engineer (Electrical Focus)

Key Responsibilities
Facility Operation & Maintenance
• Ensure stable operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facility and utility systems supporting cleanroom and manufacturing operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance, alarms, and operating parameters; promptly identify and resolve abnormalities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.
Electrical & Utility Systems
• Take ownership of critical electrical systems including transformers, generators, UPS,
ATS, power distribution systems, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and utility-related failures to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Support operation and maintenance of HVAC, cleanroom, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
Factory Setup & Equipment Installation
• Support facility readiness for new production equipment installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate utility hook-up activities including electrical supply, cooling systems, compressed air, and other facility requirements.
• Participate in factory expansion, system modification, and facility improvement projects.
Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHS requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and safety regulations.
• Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, energy efficiency, and facility performance.

Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related fields.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in facility engineering within semiconductor, cleanroom, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or other critical facility environments.
• Experience in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems including generators, transformers, MSB, DB, UPS, ATS and power distribution systems is highly preferred.
• Experience in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEPF systems, Building Management System (BMS), fire protection systems, cleanroom HVAC, and critical utility systems.
• Experience supporting installation, testing & commissioning (T&C), and start-up activities for facility and utility systems is preferred.
• Experience working with CMMS for maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of EHS requirements, permit-to-work (PTW), LOTO procedures, and safety standards in industrial or cleanroom environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID, single-line diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Technical Skills
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CMMS or monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 14644, and Vietnamese TCVN/QCVN regulations.
Certifications (preferred):
• Cleanroom technology training.
• Certification or professional training in HVAC system design, operation, and maintenance. Knowledge or certification in energy management, energy efficiency, or green building standards (e.g., LEED or equivalent).
• Certification or professional training in building/facility management (e.g., Facility Management, Property Management, or Building Operations Management).
