Erpnext / Frappe Framework Developer (Junior–Mid Level)

We're looking for a motivated developer based in Hanoi to become our in-house ERPNext and Frappe Framework specialist, working on-site with our team. You'll be trained from the ground up to configure, customize, and extend ERPNext for real clients as part of live implementation projects. This is a hands-on learning role: we care more about your foundation and hunger to learn than your existing ERP experience.

What You'll Do

• Learn the Frappe Framework (DocTypes, workflows, permissions, server/client scripts) through structured internal training and real project work

• Configure and customize all ERPNext modules for client-specific needs

• Build custom Frappe apps and scripts to extend ERPNext beyond out-of-the-box functionality

• Support integrations and automations (e.g., email parsing, bank/EFT reconciliation, remittance matching)

• Translate client business processes into ERPNext configurations — working directly with real companies, not just tickets

• Collaborate in-person with the implementation team across multiple concurrent client projects

• Document configurations and customizations for internal knowledge continuity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field

• Solid foundation in Python (OOP, functions, package structure)

• Basic JavaScript knowledge (or strong willingness to pick it up quickly)

• Understanding of SQL / relational databases

• Familiarity with Git (or fast learner — this will be taught if needed)

• Based in or willing to relocate to Hanoi — this is an on-site, in-person role

• Strong English or bilingual (English/Vietnamese) communication skills

Onboarding & Certification Requirement

• New hires must complete an internal ERP Implementation and Frappe Framework training program during onboarding

• Within 3 months of start date, the candidate must pass the internal certification test covering ERPNext implementation fundamentals and Frappe Framework proficiency

• Passing this assessment is a condition of confirmation past the probationary period
