About the Department

The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Overview of the Role

The incumbent of this position is mainly responsible for fostering employee engagement through the implementation of various country-wide engagement activities. This position is expected to implement monitor and evaluate the programs/ projects as well as facilitate the effective collaboration of the people.

Job Responsibilities

• Employee Engagement:

o Assist to develop and in charge of execution of the employee engagement plan in alignment with organizational goals and objectives and UOB’s vision, culture and values;

o Organize bank-wide activities including Townhall, Dinner & Dance, Leadership Talks, Celebrations etc. to foster a sense of community and belonging among employees;

o Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the employee engagement success;

o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of employee engagement programs and activities and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Budget Management:

o Manage, consult, track and adapt procurement procedure for all campaign expenses which correspondent with projected budget;

o Collaborate with other departments and external partners to align budgeting with strategic objectives and operational needs;

o Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency with enhanced outcomes.

• Learning & Development: Support and coordinate internal workshops and trainings as well as other employee learning programs.

• Assist in other HR tasks and projects as assigned.

• University Bachelor Degree, preferably in Professional HR or Education management or relevant fields;

• At least 5 working years of Employee Engagement, L&D experience, preferably in a similar role in MNC/ Banking;

• Confident with speed in execution and independent management;

• Demonstrable maturity, professionalism, accountability and result-oriented;

• Integrity, team player and collaboration;

• Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions;

• Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented;

• Strong communication and presentation skills with internal staff and external stakeholders in English & Vietnamese;

• Strong in MS Office applications, understand HR Learning Systems is preferable.
