JOB DESCRIPTION
Review and interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics of production equipment and conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for machinery and equipment.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that the operation, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment comply with technical safety requirements.
Conduct machine safety assessments in accordance with Vietnamese regulations and Group standards and propose technical improvement measures to enhance equipment safety.
Manage and supervise contractors performing electrical work, maintenance, and equipment installation activities within the factory.
Participate in the Safety Department’s general activities, including fire protection and firefighting (PCCC) systems, safety training, occupational health programs, and other related activities.
Perform other tasks assigned by Department Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Graduated from College or higher with major in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Industrial Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in design, installation, or operation of electrical systems/equipment
At least 2 years of experience in a factory environment in a team leader or management position
Experience in machine design or fabrication is an advantage
Skills:
– English or Japanese communication level
– Good office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Have skills to analyze, synthesize data and make reports
– Ability to read and understand technical drawings; CAD skills preferred
– Risk identification and assessment related to machinery and work activities
– Have communication skills, teamwork and creative thinking
