1. Job Summary
- EHS Senior Staff are responsible for ensuring that all employees comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, company standards, and legal requirements. The position exists to support the creation and maintenance of a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace through the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS policies, procedures, and daily practices.
- Located within the EHS Department and reporting to the EHS Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating EHS activities across production, maintenance, warehouse, and all supporting functions. EHS Senior Staff provide guidance to teams, conducts inspections, leads incident investigations, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
- In addition to EHS responsibilities, EHS Senior Staff support all related teams in building and maintaining the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) within the factory. This includes coordinating business impact assessments, supporting the development of continuity plans, assisting with drills and exercises, and ensuring alignment between EHS emergency preparedness and BCMS requirements.
- EHS Senior Staff has the authority to enforce safety rules, recommend corrective actions, stop unsafe activities, and escalate critical issues to management. The role requires regular collaboration with Operations, HR, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and compliant EHS and BCMS framework.
2. Essential Duties
- Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health, safety and environment.
- Coordinate with team to develop, implement, and maintain the business continuity management system (BCMS) in alignment with applicable standards (ISO22301) and Company Requirements
- Coordinate with team to do business impact analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical manufacturing processes, resources, and potential disruptions.
- Coordinate the development, review, and periodic update of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for all critical functions.
- Ensure integration of emergency response, crisis management, and continuity planning to provide a cohesive resilience framework.
- Coordinate to execute BCMS drills, tabletop exercises, and simulation tests to verify readiness and identify improvement actions.
- Monitor compliance with BCMS requirements and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Performs work-site analysis of EHS risk factors. Analyzes job content and identifies solutions. Establishes specifications and criteria for technically sound processes and procedures. Works with management of specific groups to implement these criteria into best management practices.
- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
- Perform training workforce, Contractor, Visitor, Supplier… on a wide variety of occupational health, safety, and environmental topics.
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
- Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
- Assists in development and implementation of plans and procedures to comply with applicable local and international regulations. Modifies, updates, and executes established programs to achieve and maintain a state of compliance.
- Evaluates associate exposures to chemical, physical, and biological hazards using a variety of instrumentation. Interprets results and provides input on control measures where necessary.
- Revises emergency response and contingency plans to reflect changes in operations, conditions, and materials used.
- Develops and validates analytical techniques, written procedures, and standard protocols to support research, scientific, technical, or engineering-related disciplines.
- May give work direction to other technical resources.
- May be required to provide technical input and support during inspections and other compliance or audit activities.
- Make sure Contractors following Company EHS regulation & Vietnamese Law.
- Support to achieve ISO 45001: 2018, ISO14001:2015, ISO 22301:2015 and maintain after getting certificates.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing by Vietnamese and English.
- Knowledge of and use of PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Strong influence skill to lead safety manner of the whole factory.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.

3. Minimum Qualification Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree and above.
* Experience:
- Minimum 06 years’ experience in environmental health safety experience in a manufacturing environment & 01 year in BCMS in a manufacturing environment
*Skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of standards and regulations such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22301.
- Knowledgeable of chemical, physical, and biological hazards, and the techniques utilized to control those workplace hazards. Capable of articulating those hazards and controls to a wide variety of audiences.
- General knowledge of engineering controls machine automation processes including guarding, LOTO, and safety FMEA.
- Proficient and knowledgeable in the use of state-of-the-art industrial hygiene monitoring equipment.
- Competent in ergonomic evaluation of office, manufacturing, and manual material handling tasks.
- Skill in incident investigation techniques, causal analysis, and occupational health.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Computer Software, Outlook and Internet.
4. Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a general labor and manufacturing environment, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to read documents, speak clearly, and hear effectively to communicate hazards, instructions, and training information.
- Ability to walk through production areas, facilities, on the roofs during inspections and audits.
