• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Data Build Tool Core to transform raw data through Bronze, Silver , and Gold layers following Medallion architecture principles.
• Build and optimize Snowflake data models including Data Vault 2.0 (hubs, links, satellites) for audit/compliance and Star Schema (facts, dimensions) for BI performance.
• Implement data ingestion workflows from multiple sources (IoT sensors, GPS, CAN bus, battery telemetry, smartphone data) into AWS S3 landing zones.
• Configure and manage AWS services including S3, SQS, Event Bridge , and Lambda for event-driven data processing.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with schema change for automated
• Snowflake object deployment and Data Build Tool pipeline orchestration.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and testing frameworks within Data Build Tool to ensure data accuracy and trustworthiness.
• Support BI integration with Qlik Sense as the primary reporting tool, with future expansion to Tableau, Looker, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect on data catalog implementation using Data Build Tool schema. YAML (YML) as the single source of truth.
• Participate in performance tuning of Snowflake warehouses for ingest, transform, BI reporting, and ad-hoc query workloads.

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with Snowflake (warehouses, stages, streams, tasks, Time Travel).
• Hands-on experience with Data Build Tool (Data Build Tool Core preferred) including models, tests, sources, snapshots, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of AWS services: S3, Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge, IAM, and Glue (or equivalent ETL tools).
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Understanding of data modeling concepts: Star Schema, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), and ideally Data Vault 2.0.
• Skill Streaming, AWS Kinesis -> Experience with Streaming process (Kafka, AWS Kinesis Data Firehose)

Soft Skills & Other

• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). Japanese language ability is a strong plus.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-time zone team (Japan, Vietnam).
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to data quality and operational reliability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
