We are a group of entrepreneurs running companies in the US, Europe and Singapore. We are building a new development hub in Vietnam to design agentic AI products — starting with the trade fair, events and exhibitions industry, then scaling the platform into other verticals. 

Offices in District 1 are already in place. The first client is signed. The engineering team does not exist yet — that is what this role is for. 

This is a co-founder seat, not a senior hire. You will: 

• Own the technical strategy and the development pipeline end to end
• Assess and take ownership of an existing Rust codebase that will be the foundation of the platform
• Hire, structure and lead the engineering team from the first engineer onwards - Translate market requirements into a product roadmap, working directly with the founders
• Travel with the founders to meet international clients and scope development work 

Compensation: monthly salary + equity, vesting on agreed milestones. 

Selection: the investors and the development team will be in Ho Chi Minh City from 12 to 18 September for an intensive hackathon. You will work on a real problem alongside the founders.

Your Skills and Experience

MUST-HAVE:

• Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems: LLM orchestration, multi-agent architectures, tool use / function calling, RAG
• Experience running agent systems in production, evaluation and observability, not only prototypes
• B2B SaaS or platform product experience
• Rust, or a strong systems-level background with the ability to take over a Rust codebase
• Experience building and leading an engineering team: hiring, standards, code review, delivery
• Comfortable at early stage: ambiguity, ownership, direct client contact
• Languages: Vietnamese, English 

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Experience working with B2B businesses and enterprise clients
• A demonstrable passion for art, photography or design
• Open-source contributions or an active community track record
