Contract Engineer - Long Thanh International Airport Project

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract Engineer to support contract administration and claims management activities for international construction projects. The role will work closely with project, legal, and commercial teams to ensure contractual compliance and protect the company’s interests throughout the project lifecycle, particularly under FIDIC-based contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Legal & Contracts Department in all contract-related matters for construction projects.

• Review, draft, and negotiate various types of contracts including:

o Construction subcontracts

o Supply contracts

o Purchase agreements

o Partnership agreements

o Supply & installation contracts

• Monitor contract execution and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Identify potential claim events, delays, disruptions, and contractual risks.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding contract administration and claims issues.

• Prepare contractual correspondence, notifications, and official letters to counterparties.

• Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities during project execution.

• Conduct legal and contractual research and prepare reports for management and HQ.

• Maintain proper contract documentation and follow up on time-sensitive contractual actions.

Must-have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Law from a reputable university.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction contract management and claims handling.

• Strong experience with prime contracts in international construction projects.

• Solid knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience working with EPC/main contractor projects.

• Experience in claims preparation and dispute management.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.

Working Time & Location

• Working time:

o Monday – Saturday

• Working location: Long Thành, Đồng Nai
