Compliance Officer (Chuyên Viên Kiểm Tra Nội Bộ)

Job Summary

• Detect compliance violations at Branches/ Transaction Bureaus (TBs) within Public Bank Vietnam.

• Improve and develop efficient monitoring/ inspection at Branches/ TBs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance inspections and monitoring activities at Branches/ TBs to identify non-compliances and control deficiencies.

• Assess whether Credit and Frontlines Operations are performed in accordance with the Bank’s internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable banking laws.

• Develop and enhance compliance monitoring methodologies, inspection checklists, and control criteria to improve inspection effectiveness.

• Preparecompliance reports after each compliance inspection, including findings, root causes, risk assessments, and recommendations.

• Follow-up and ensure that corrective measures are implemented within the timeline given.

• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to Branches/ TBs to strengthen internal controls and improve compliance.

• Support the promotion of compliance awareness and best practices across the Bank.

• Perform any other duties that may be assigned bythe management from time to time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Auditing, Law or related majors.

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.

• Good understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and internal control principles.

• Good command of written English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently under pressure.

• Willingness to travel for compliance inspection.
