Chief Accountant & Finance Manager

Accounting tasks

• Oversee payment cycle, payment processing and accounting booking,

• Manage General Ledger and reconciliation processes,

• Manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing,

Tax and Reporting tasks

• Manage SBV financial statements, statutory reports, group report, Asset- Liability committee and management reports.

• Manage IFRS and local GAAP (VAS) reporting differences to ensure adjustments for Group reports and SBV reports and support implementation of accounting standard changes across banking products

• Monitor, analyze and manage the bank’s P&L performance, cost control, and financial efficiency.

• Involve financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including variance analysis

• Ensure daily operation is complied with tax regulations and manage tax reporting

Management tasks

• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls aligned with Head Office and local regulations

• Understand bank’s systems and current regulation to advise and support implementation of systems, products, automation, and operation process improvement for finance operations.

• Act as key contact point for external auditors, internal auditor and regulators

• Manage and develop the Finance & Accounting team, ensuring strong governance and capability building

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Possession of “Certificate of Chief Accountant” is a must.

3. Minimum 7–10 years experience in banking finance/accounting; at least 3–5 years in managerial role.

4. Strong knowledge of:

• Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS)

• IFRS / IAS

• SBV regulatory reporting framework

• Tax regulations

5. Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L drivers, and SBV regulation for banking industry.

6. Proven ability to manage audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance requirements.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Positive attitude, high level of integrity, attention to detail, and risk awareness.

9. Leadership and team management capability.

10. Fluent in English and Vietnamese (for reporting to Head Office and regulators).
