Automated Test Engineer Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer Supervisor to lead a team responsible for developing and deploying automated test solutions for high-speed electronic products. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, supporting global manufacturing operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and test system performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance support.
• Develop, integrate, maintain, and upgrade automated test software and hardware for manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and global engineering teams to deliver standardized test solutions across multiple production sites.
• Perform electrical testing, analyze test data, identify product and process issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Design and improve automated production test systems, including:
• Test fixtures
• PCB integration
• Hardware integration
• Software development
• System validation
• Documentation
• Performance characterization
• Develop test plans, execute system verification and validation, analyze failures, and document technical results.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company quality and environmental management systems.
• Coordinate project schedules, risks, resources, and technical communication with global stakeholders.

Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test & measurement or automated testing.
• At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams (Team Leader/Supervisor level).
• Experience with high-speed electronic products or automated manufacturing test systems is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Good understanding of software development concepts and automation programming.
• Experience with automated test systems and manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred experience includes:
• C/C++, C#, VB.NET
• RF/Microwave measurement equipment
• High-speed signal integrity testing
• Network analyzers, oscilloscopes, TDR, BER testers
• SQL/MySQL databases
• PCB design tools (Cadence Allegro, Mentor PADS)
• Electromagnetic simulation (Ansys HFSS, CST)
• Lean Six Sigma methodology
