Assistant Accounting Manager (General & Tax)

Job Summary: Responsible for General Ledger and Tax-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle monthly and annual tax filing, payments and reporting (including but not limited to FCWT, Freight Tax, DTA, and other related tax matters);

Record all tax-related journal entries accurately and timely;

Monitor and update changes in accounting and tax regulations.

2. Monitor tax compliance for AR tax invoice issuance and AR/AP related tax issues.

3. Handle related daily general ledger and month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate book closing in line with VAS and Group policies;

Monthly / Quarterly / Interim / Annual Reports;

- Assist monthly performance analysist and other related/ad hoc GLTAX tasks/reports to be assigned.

- Education background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Auditing. CPA certification is an advantage.

- Experience:

+ More than 8 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting firms, multinational companies, or foreign-invested companies.

+ Experience in the shipping and logistics industry is an advantage.

• Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), IFRS, and applicable tax regulations.

- Proficiency in SAP and other advanced tax and accounting tools.

- Communication, teamwork, careful and detail-oriented, innovation mindset, strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, high accuracy in work execution within fast-paced environments; proactive attitude.

- Language requirements: Fluent at English.

- Other requirements: Ability to work under pressure, willingness to work overtime or on weekends when necessary.
