Position Summary

This position will support IFRS17 Manager to delivery all the IFRS17 KPIs

Main Responsibility

Monthly P&L preparation:

- Prepare the Best Estimate cashflows for the current month PL.

Consolidate with the Actual data to generate monthly PL.

Quarterly P&L preparation:

- Set up Prophet and monitor & validate Prophet outputs for the reporting Quarters.

- Prepare FPSL inputs (Master Data files, BECM) and validate FPSL calculation logic via AFO reports.

- Populate Anaplan for GHO’s additional analysis and quarterly reports (TDD, QBR, etc) for management review.

Provide ad-hoc analysis required by management

Support Budget/ Planning exercises:

- Set up Prophet and monitor & validate Prophet outputs for the Planning period.

- Consolidate input from other teams (Finance, Investment) and populate the results in Excel Template.

- Populate the detailed results to Anaplan.

Provide ad-hoc, sensitivities analysis required by management

Frequently update the ETL system:

- Control actuarial-related mapping table for ETL (Update mapping table for new products, new channels, or new treaties)

- Identify the current gaps between ETL outputs and FPSL requirements, propose ETL logic change and present to management, IT, and vendors, UAT the new ETL logic

To perform a wide variety of ad-hoc actuarial investigations as required by management.

Qualification and Experience Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or related quantitative subjects from a recognized university.

• Knowledge of Actuarial science (Good exam progress towards ASA is preferred).

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Life insurance.

• IFRS17 experience is preferred

• Proficient in MS-Excel and actuarial software, especially PROPHET.

• Detail oriented with the ability to work to timelines.

• Good English language skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
