GENERAL INFORMATION

• Job Title: Project Purchasing Staff

• Department: Procurement Department

• Report to: Department Manager (Japanese) / Deputy Manager / Team Leader

JOB OBJECTIVES

Ensure the sufficient and timely supply of materials and components for production projects catering to European and American clients (especially major partners like AMAT) with optimized costs, qualified standards, and a transparent process.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Project Purchasing: Take charge of purchasing materials/goods for production projects serving clients in the European and American markets (especially the AMAT partner).

• Sourcing & Negotiation: Actively source, survey, and evaluate potential suppliers for projects. Directly send Requests for Quotes (RFQs), compare pricing, and conduct negotiations to optimize purchasing costs.

• Order Management: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and handle contracts. Execute the ordering process and closely monitor the delivery progress from suppliers.

• Cost Management & Reporting: Control the purchasing budget, monitor and optimize purchasing costs within the assigned project scope, and prepare periodic reports.

• Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve any unexpected issues related to goods (such as quantity discrepancies, quality defects, or delivery delays) with suppliers.

• Payment Procedures: Coordinate with the Accounting Department to complete documentation and execute payment procedures for suppliers on time.

• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned and directly directed by superiors to ensure the overall progress of the project.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Trade, International Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related technical fields.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a Purchasing position. (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project purchasing, technical/mechanical purchasing, or those who have worked with European/American clients, specifically AMAT).

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (capable of reading/understanding technical documents, contracts, and negotiating directly). Proficiency in Japanese is a major advantage.

• Skills:

Strong negotiation, pricing strategy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and understand commercial contracts and import-export documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Powerpoint) or ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)

• Location Priority: Candidates living in the Bac Ninh area are preferred.

Expected Salary: Negotiable based on capacity and experience.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, and 2 alternating Saturdays per month.
