Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled
Software Development Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications, APIs, and database solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.
NET Core technologies.
Develop and enhance RESTful APIs using ASP.
NET Core API.
Implement and maintain MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture-based applications.
Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Manage source code using Azure Git or GitHub repositories.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
Document software designs, technical specifications, and development procedures.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience & Technical Skills
Development Tools
Experience with:
Microsoft Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or MySQL Workbench
Azure Git, GitHub, or equivalent source control systems
Backend Development
Knowledge of C# programming language
Experience developing applications using:
ASP.
NET Core Web Applications
ASP.
NET Core Web API
Understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture
Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
Frontend Development
Experience with:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
Database Development
Experience working with:
Microsoft SQL Server
MySQL
Ability to:
Write complex SQL queries
Create and modify Stored Procedures
Perform database performance tuning and optimization
Support AWS-hosted redundant database environments
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
