MỤC ĐÍCH CÔNG VIỆC/ JOB PURPOSE

Acts as the Terminal Equipment – LET Engineer to lead, coordinate the LET System engineering of both airside and landside facilities. This role ensures strict compliance with international aviation and engineering standards alongside local regulatory requirements. Responsible for driving multidisciplinary design coordination, managing complex stakeholder interfaces, and securing statutory authority approvals, the role guarantees the delivery of integrated, value-engineered, and high-quality structural solutions across all project phases (design to delivery).

TRÁCH NHIỆM CHÍNH/ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Design Management & Technical Delivery

• Lead and coordinate the design of LET Systems.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant's design teams to ensure integrated, clash-free, and technically sound outputs.

• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements related LET System.

• Review, check and preparing validate design deliverables (drawings, calculations, specifications) for quality, safety, and constructability (including approval of the Engineer and Employer Authorities).

• Drive optimized and cost-effective design solutions while maintaining operational efficiency.

• Coordination and control of the entire HVTS process from design to delivery, in accordance with the contract, for the firm selected as a result of the tender.

• Ensuring the control and approval of the work method descriptions of the main work items to be performed.

• Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery aligned with project milestones.

2. Stakeholder & Authority Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, airport operators, and key stakeholders.

• Act as the main interface for all structure-related design matters.

• Manage design submissions and approval processes with relevant authorities.

• Ensure all stakeholder and authority comments are tracked and properly addressed.

• Facilitate resolution of design interfaces and conflicts across disciplines.

• Supervising and Inspecting of the work progressing at site.

3. Integration, Reporting & Project Support

• Ensure alignment of LET System design with overall project scope, schedule, and budget.

• Monitor risks, constraints, and interface issues, implementing mitigation measures.

• Prepare and report design status, key risks, and progress to senior management.

• Support procurement activities including technical inputs to RFPs and design reviews.

• Monitoring and Reporting the progress (monthly, weekly, and daily activity reports).

• Coordinate with construction and delivery teams to ensure smooth design-to-construction transition.

• Coordination of all field and office personnel to ensure timely and high-quality completion of the work.

• Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement in design to delivery processes.

• To ensure the effective management of energy, human resources, and time; checking work schedules in terms of feasibility and effectiveness, and making new (emergency) arrangements if necessary.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Lift-Escalator-Travelator Design-Installation-Testing & Commissioning.

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience for Lift-Escalator-Travelator Project and Service Management.

• Hands-on experience with international standards and local authority regulations and approval processes.

• Must be familiar with Vietnamese Codes and standard system. (QCVN, TCVN)

• Speaking English Fluently, i.e. skills on Listening , Speaking , Reading and Writing.

• Value Engineering: Ability to spearhead value engineering initiatives to optimize design solutions and enhance cost-efficiency.

• Project Controls: Competence in design scheduling, project planning, and proactive risk identification and mitigation.

• Delivery & Submissions: Solid understanding of interdisciplinary design coordination, local authority submission procedures, and overall project delivery workflows.

2. Software & Engineering Tools

• Drafting & BIM: Strong command of AutoCAD.

• Experience in AutoCAD (Preferred)

• Experience in BIM Modelling (Clash analyses, review and coordination) (Preferred)

• Skills in MS Office Application
