Technical Support Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a global company specializing in adhesive and industrial technical solutions.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with hands-on experience in adhesive, glue, coating or chemical applications to provide technical consultation, application testing and solution recommendations for customers and the Sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical consultation and application support to customers and the Sales team during pre-sales and after-sales activities.

• Conduct and manage lab tests, application tests, product trials and technical demonstrations based on customer requirements.

• Analyze technical and application issues and recommend suitable products and technical solutions.

• Manage application testing and support product specification (Spec-in) for assigned projects.

• Handle technical inquiries, including product/application-related quality issues, and provide troubleshooting support.

• Provide technical training to customers and internal Sales teams on product applications, processes and solutions.

• Work closely with Sales to develop projects and provide appropriate technical recommendations.

• Prepare project updates and technical reports as required.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.

3–5 years of experience in Technical Support, Technical Service, Application Engineering or a similar technical role.

Experience in glue, adhesive, coating, chemical or related industrial products is strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience in lab testing, application testing, product trials or product demonstrations.

Ability to provide technical consultation, manage testing activities and recommend practical solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good English communication and presentation skills.

Good customer-facing and interpersonal skills.

Experience in OEM/manufacturing environments is an advantage, particularly exposure to Quality Control, ISO or Regulatory requirements.
