Technical Project Manager

Project Information

Factory relocation project from Thuan Dao Industrial Park to SonaDezi Chau Duc Industrial Park, Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

The relocation project is expected to commence in October 2026 and complete by July 2027.

The successful candidate will work across both project locations depending on the project phase and operational requirements.

This role will work closely with the Maintenance team, who will provide technical expertise for machine dismantling, installation, and commissioning.

Job Description

• Lead and coordinate the overall factory relocation project, including project planning, scheduling, milestones, and progress tracking.

• Coordinate machine dismantling, transportation, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities with the Maintenance team, contractors, and equipment suppliers.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and external contractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Monitor project progress, project costs, technical documentation, and resource availability throughout the relocation project.

• Prepare project schedules, meeting minutes, action plans, and regular project status reports for management.

• Identify project risks, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company safety requirements throughout project execution.

• Coordinate with overseas equipment suppliers and service engineers during installation and commissioning activities.

• Support the project team in achieving project milestones, minimizing production downtime, and ensuring successful project completion.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical disciplines.

• 5-7 years of experience in technical project coordination, engineering projects, maintenance projects, factory improvement projects, or manufacturing engineering.

• Experience in manufacturing environments such as plastics, packaging, FMCG, food, beverage, automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical, or other industrial manufacturing.

• Experience supporting machine installation, production line transfer, factory expansion, CAPEX projects, or factory relocation projects is preferred.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external contractors throughout project execution.

• General understanding of mechanical systems, factory utilities, production equipment, and industrial manufacturing processes.

• Ability to understand technical drawings, project documentation, and equipment installation requirements.

• Strong project planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and project coordination skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight project timelines.

• Good presentation and reporting skills.

• Willing to travel frequently between Long An and Chau Duc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau according to project requirements.
