The Opportunity

You will collaborate with tax professionals, technology stakeholders and client teams to automate processes, develop digital tools, analyze large datasets and drive the adoption of emerging technologies including AI-enabled solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Internal Transformation

- Design, develop and maintain automation tools, frameworks and workflows that enhance the efficiency and quality of tax service delivery.

- Understand EY’s internal policies on technology to manage internal approval processes and tools.

- Build solutions that automate tax compliance, reporting and data processing activities.

- Maintain and continuously improve existing tax technology platforms, applications and productivity tools.

- Research, evaluate and implement innovative technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to modernize tax operations.

- Support the adoption of new tax authority digital platforms, electronic filing systems and emerging regulatory technologies.

- Work closely with Tax teams to identify process improvement opportunities and translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

- Evaluate and implement tax technology solutions and assets developed by EY Global.

Client Services

- Support tax engagements involving large and complex datasets, including data processing and analytics for multinational and large domestic clients.

- Develop data transformation, validation and reporting solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of client deliverables.

- Perform data extraction, cleansing and analysis using structured and unstructured data sources.

- Assist engagement teams in leveraging technology and automation to address client tax and business challenges.

- Participate in client discussions, workshops and solution demonstrations to showcase technology-enabled tax capabilities.

- Provide practical insights and recommendations on technology, automation, data analytics and AI applications within tax functions.

- Support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives for Tax departments across industries.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.

- Having 2–5 years of relevant experience, exposure with Tax, Accounting, Finance, Audit or related professional services environments is a plus.

- Hands-on programming experience in one or more of the following SQL/Python/VBA/Excel Macros and equivalents.

- Experience working with large datasets and data processing activities, having knowledge of database structures, data transformation and reporting concepts.

- Understanding of technology governance, data security and compliance requirements.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

- Experience developing automation solutions for tax, finance or accounting processes.

- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), exposure to Microsoft Copilot or intelligent automation solutions.

- Experience working with tax authority digital portals, e-tax systems or regulatory technology platforms.

- Experience supporting digital transformation projects.
