System Engineer

What You’ll Own & Drive
Administer, maintain, and optimize on‑premises infrastructure including virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and core services.
Manage and support
Proxmox Virtual Environment,
TrueNAS/ZFS Storage, and
Zimbra Email System.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of servers, virtual machines, storage, and business‑critical applications.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Manage core IT services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services (SMB, SFTP), and system integrations.
Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and vendor support activities.
Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
Provide support for essential network services such as DHCP, DNS, VPN, and assist with connectivity troubleshooting when required.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure and System Engineering.
Strong hands‑on experience with Proxmox VE, TrueNAS/ZFS, Linux/Windows Server Administration, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and backup/recovery solutions.
Familiarity with on‑premises email platforms, preferably Zimbra.
Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, storage, and virtualization.
Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.
Ability to document technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Intermediate English communication skills (B1 level or higher).
Networking knowledge (Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet) is a plus
