Supply Chain Manager

About This Role

PROSTECH is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to run our end-to-end supply chain in Vietnam — purchasing, customs, warehousing, logistics and order fulfilment — and to lead the team that delivers it.

This is a hands-on management role. You will be accountable for two things at the same time: that our customers get the right goods on time, and that we do it without tying up more cash than the business can afford. You will own the day-to-day decisions, set the operating standards for your team, and work closely with Sales, Finance and our regional offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain operations — purchasing and inbound, customs clearance, warehouse and logistics, outbound and order fulfilment.

• Plan and control inventory and purchasing — balance product availability against inventory value, aging and working capital; keep the right stock in the right place.

• Lead and develop the team — set standards and priorities, coach team members, and build the capability to run the function reliably without daily escalation.

• Own vendor relationships and negotiations — pricing, payment terms, lead times and quality, with both domestic and international suppliers.

• Manage supply chain risk — identify supply, vendor, logistics, customs and inventory risks early, and drive practical contingency plans; take ownership of escalated issues through to resolution.

• Ensure data accuracy and process discipline on our ERP — purchase orders and ETAs, allocation, inventory records and documentation must be accurate and current, because the rest of the business makes decisions on them.

• Improve how the function works — simplify workflows, cut cycle time and cost, and drive digitalisation and ERP improvements.

• Report performance to management — service level, inventory health, cost and the supply chain financial indicators, with the analysis behind the numbers.

• Ensure compliance — with import/export regulations in every country we operate in, and with company policy and procedure.

Must have

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years in supply chain, procurement or logistics, including at least 2 years managing a team.

• Hands-on depth in at least two of: procurement and inbound, customs clearance, warehouse and logistics, outbound planning and fulfilment — and a working command of the rest.

• Solid knowledge of Vietnam import/export regulations, customs procedures and electronic customs systems (ECUS).

• Practical inventory planning skills — safety stock, lead time, demand and forecast handling, slow-moving and obsolete stock.

• Understanding of how supply chain decisions hit cash and margin: inventory turns, working capital, payment terms, landed cost, cost-to-serve.

• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing supplier relationships, domestic and international.

• Strong ERP user, with genuine discipline about data accuracy; strong Excel / Google Sheets.

• English good enough to run a meeting, negotiate by email and hold a call with international vendors and our regional offices.

• Analytical and structured problem solver, with commercial awareness and a clear understanding of cost.

• Willing to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, manufacturing, specialty materials or chemicals.

• Experience across multiple sites or multiple countries.

• SQL, Power BI, Looker or similar — the ability to pull and read your own data.

• Master's degree or a professional certification (CSCP, CPIM, CIPS or equivalent).

You'll do well here if

• You go and check the data yourself rather than accepting a status at face value.

• You are comfortable holding a team — and a supplier — to a standard.

• You can tell the difference between a problem to escalate and a problem to solve.
