Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sourcing Specialist based in Vietnam to support supplier development, factory management, and production coordination for consumer goods. The ideal candidate is fluent in Vietnamese/Chinese, with a strong background in sourcing, supplier negotiations, factory audits, and production management. This role will serve as a critical bridge between suppliers, factories, and international stakeholders, ensuring product quality, competitive pricing, and smooth production execution.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factories and suppliers across Vietnam and neighboring sourcing markets.

• Build and maintain a strong network of manufacturing partners for consumer goods.

• Conduct supplier due diligence, capability assessments, and factory audits.

• Source products and manufacturing solutions that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

• Conduct product inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.

• Coordinate with factories to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

• Identify and resolve production challenges, delays, and quality concerns.

• Serve as the primary communication bridge between English-speaking, Vietnamese-speaking stakeholders, and Chinese-speaking (if applicable)

• Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

• Provide regular updates on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and sample status

Required Experience

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written) required.

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.

• Proven experience sourcing and managing consumer goods manufacturing.

• Strong factory negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

• Experience conducting supplier audits and factory evaluations.

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing operations.

• Ability to travel within Vietnam to visit factories and suppliers as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Existing network of factories and suppliers in Vietnam.

• Experience working with international brands, importers, or trading companies.

• Familiarity with product compliance, quality assurance, and supply chain best practices.

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese a plus.
