Sourcing Executive

Source and develop suppliers for specialized materials such as technical fabrics, metal trims, and plastic components for bags and protective gear.
Participate in brainstorming sessions with the R&D team to advise on material feasibility.
Manage the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process and issue sample purchase orders (PO) for the sampling stage.
Collaborate with R&D and Purchasing teams to ensure on-time material delivery, supporting sample development timelines.
Collect quotations, perform cost comparisons, and negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and commercial terms.
Monitor material progress for sampling and production, ensuring on-time delivery.
Work with suppliers on quality standards, testing, and certifications (e.g., REACH, CPSIA if applicable).
Maintain and update supplier database including pricing, lead time, capacity, and performance history.
Handle sourcing-related issues such as delays, quality problems, and material substitutions.
Strong negotiation skills with an established supplier network in garment/accessories industry.
Good understanding of raw material quality standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work systematically.
English proficiency: good communication and ability to read technical documents.
Existing supplier network in bags/backpacks/jacket industry is a plus.
Knowledge of BOM and garment materials (fabric, trims, accessories).
