Job Summary

The Shipping Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all import/export activities, customs clearance operations, EPE compliance, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth and compliant business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Import & Export Operations:

• Supervise and manage daily import/export operations for manufacturing activities.

• Ensure all import/export documentation and customs declarations are accurate and compliant with Vietnamese regulations.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment operations.

• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve customs clearance or logistics issues in a timely manner.

SOP & Compliance Management:

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for import/export and customs clearance activities.

• Ensure compliance with EPE (Export Processing Enterprise) regulations.

• Keep updated with customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of 6 or more members.

• Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide coaching/training to team members.

• Coordinate cross-functional communication with Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting departments.

Problem Solving & Operational Support:

• Handle urgent operational issues and provide effective solutions.

• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines under a high-pressure environment.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related fields.

• At least 5 years of working experience in manufacturing companies.

• Minimum 3 years of the same position.

• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and customs handbook reconciliation processes.

• Experience working in EPE companies is highly preferred.

• Good command of English or Chinese (Mandarin).

• Strong data collection, reporting, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration.

• Good problem-solving and emergency handling capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
