This Quality Manager will oversees all incoming raw materials and outsourced components to ensure alignment with quality standards and production schedules. This role focuses on improving inspection processes and leading the quality control teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and develop the internal teams including Fabric, Leather, Component, UPH RM & Casegood RM Internal QC

• Establish and implement quality standards, systems, and SOPs for the above teams.

• Ensure incoming raw materials and outsourced components meet Ashley customer expectations.

• Partner with Development and Sourcing to manage and expand raw material capacity with existing and new suppliers in Asia.

• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality and operational issues; complete assigned projects on time and drive continuous improvement in audit methods, equipment, staffing, and work environment.

• Develop and enhance the quality control program based on customer feedback and alerts; implement corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Monitor team performance, labor management, attendance, discipline, and overall productivity.

• Analyze quality data and metrics; implement action plans to improve performance.

• Provide training to strengthen quality capabilities across departments.

• Promote company policies, culture, asset protection, and loss prevention.

• Support organizational optimization of raw material QC teams and encourage employee IDEA contributions.

• Ensure efficient and timely production support; oversee 6S and 8 Wastes compliance.

• Lead key customer visits and deliver professional presentations.

• Collaborate with CQI on lead and Kaizen projects.

• Conduct regular employee meetings to strengthen engagement, commitment, and lean manufacturing culture.

• Address employee concerns proactively and lead resolution of workplace issues, including work stoppages.

1. Education<

1. Education

• Bachelor or above Degree in QA/QC, Chemical, Technical, Engineering or related majors

• Experience in at least one of the following industries: Casegoods quality/ Plastic component manufacturing/ Mechanical and electrical component manufacturing and quality/ Textile manufacturing and quality

2. Work Experience

• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in a sizable upholstery, casegoods, or mechanism factory.

• Advanced knowledge of Raw materials (RM).

• At least 3 years of managerial experience.
