Senior Power BI Developer/ Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, perform analysis, and deliver intuitive visualizations that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI

• Translate business requirements into effective data models and visualizations

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources

• Build and maintain data models (e.g., star schema) to support reporting needs

• Collaborate with internal customers to gather requirements and present insights

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reports

• Continuously improve dashboards based on user feedback

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field

• Work experience at least 6 years as PowerBI engineer.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX, data modeling, Power BI Data Analyst Associate: PL-300)

• Solid SQL skills for data extraction and transformation

• Good understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices

• Ability to interpret data and perform analytical thinking

• Experience working with business stakeholders and translating needs into solutions

• Good English

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of data science concepts (e.g., trend analysis, forecasting, statistical thinking)

• Experience with data warehousing or ETL processes

• Familiarity with tools like Excel, Python, or R is a plus

• Experience in agile or iterative development environments
