Senior .NET Agentic AI Developer (Remote Contract)

 

ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT

- Contract type: Independent contractor — full-time (approx. 40 hrs/week)

- Hours: Approx. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

- Duration: Ongoing, long-term engagement

- Location: Fully remote — work from home

- Timezone: Overlap with AEST/SGT business hours

 

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will join an established Australian-based team as a Senior Developer to drive the evolution of their core product and solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will play a pivotal part in shifting the product toward an Agentic AI framework while maintaining high standards across the .NET stack.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade applications across the full technology stack

- Lead the transition into the AI space by implementing Agentic programming frameworks

- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality, secure solutions

- Own the end-to-end development cycle including agile sprint items, bug fixing, and enhancements

- Troubleshoot and support business-critical applications to ensure performance and reliability

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications

Your Skills and Experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Senior-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL

- Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure and Azure DevOps

- Strong frontend skills in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- Proven experience with REST API development and WebSockets

- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control

- Experience in enterprise-grade application maintenance and support

 

NICE TO HAVE

- Prior experience with Agentic programming frameworks or AI agent orchestration

- Background in machine learning and data security best practices

- Familiarity with ASP.
NET Framework 4.8 and Entity Framework legacy migrations
