Senior Merchandiser (Sales & Production MD)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Merchandiser at ESANG VINA, you will be the central bridge between international buyers and our production floors. Your main duties will encompass the entire order lifecycle:

1. Buyer Sourcing & Account Management

• Proactively search, identify, and contact potential new international buyers.

• Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

• Handle inquiries, provide prompt quotations (Costing), and negotiate prices based on CMT structures.

2. Product Development & Sampling

• Receive tech-packs (TP) and design requests from buyers and translate them into actionable factory instructions.

• Source raw materials (fabrics, hardware, accessories) and coordinate with suppliers.

• Oversee the sample making process, ensuring samples match buyer requirements exactly before sending for approval.

3. Production Guiding & Follow-up

• Create detailed Production Work Orders (작업지시서) and distribute them to the production and QC teams.

• Monitor the daily production schedule closely to ensure there are no delays (Lead-time management).

• Act as a troubleshooter to solve any bottleneck issues during the mass production process.

4. Shipping & Export Management

• Coordinate with the logistics/import-export department to arrange timely shipments.

• Ensure all packing requirements and shipping marks comply with the buyer's manual.

• Track shipment status and prepare necessary commercial documents for the buyer.

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Merchandiser(or development team) in the Bag, Backpack, or Garment manufacturing industry(Textile or Leather, PU bag). Proven work experience as an MD in major bag manufacturing companies in Vietnam (e.g., Shilla Bags, Canaan, Pungkook, Shinsung, ASG, etc.) is highly preferred. Experience in CMT business is a strong advantage.

• Need to communicate with foreigner customers(Spec checking, material sourcing for samples, Understanding Techpack...)

@ A Techpack (Technical Package) is a comprehensive technical specification (work order) primarily used in the backpack, outdoor bag, camping chair, tactical bag and product design industries. It is an essential document delivered to manufacturers (factories) from buyers to produce products, serving as a 'blueprint' or 'instruction manual' for bag manufacturing.

• Understanding of bag development instruction documents and construction, concepts from customer

• Control of development with sample room leader and making clear sample time line

• Language: Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Ability to write professional emails to foreign buyers is mandatory. (Korean or Japanese speaking is a big plus but not required).
- Direct communication with material suppliers both in Vietnam and overseas.

• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

• Skills & Attributes:

o Strong understanding of bag construction, sewing processes, and bill of materials (BOM).

o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

o Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility.
