Senior Merchandiser (Bags & Accessories)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Merchandiser to join our production team. You will be the central point of contact for the entire product lifecycle—from initial development and sampling to bulk production and final shipment—ensuring that all bag and accessory projects meet our high standards for quality, cost-efficiency, and timeline adherence.
Product Development & Sampling:
Oversee the transition from design concepts to finalized samples. Manage the coordination of TOP (Top of Production) samples and ensure all technical specifications are met before bulk commencement.
Production Planning:
Maintain precise production schedules. Monitor factory output, manage fabric and trim placement, and proactively identify/resolve any bottlenecks in the production line.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management:
Collaborate closely with factory partners and raw material suppliers. Lead negotiations on pricing, lead times, and capacity allocation to ensure competitive and reliable supply chains.
Quality Assurance:
Work in tandem with the Quality Control (QC) team to establish and monitor standards, ensuring all products comply with specifications before shipment.
Reporting & Optimization:
Maintain accurate production tracking sheets. Report on status, freight costs, and surcharges regularly. Proactively suggest improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance team efficiency and reduce communication friction.
