Senior Key Account Executive (Forwarding and Logistics Industry)

The Senior Key Account Executive will manage strategic client relationships within the logistics and supply chain sector, ensuring exceptional service delivery, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics operations, freight solutions (air, ocean, land), and supply chain challenges.

1. Client Management

o Act as the main liaison for key clients (e.g., manufacturers, retailers), addressing logistics needs (freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance).

o Proactively resolve operational issues (delays, documentation, compliance) with internal teams (operations, customs, carriers).

2. Business Growth

o Expand account revenue through cross-selling (e.g., value-added services like warehousing, last-mile delivery, insurance).

o Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and logistics partners.

3. Logistics Expertise

o Advise clients on optimizing supply chain efficiency, cost savings, and risk mitigation.

o Stay updated on industry trends (e.g., digital freight platforms, sustainability initiatives).

4. Travel Requirements

o Domestic/International Travel: Up to 30% for client meetings, site visits (warehouses/ports), and industry events.

o On-Site Support: Occasional visits to key hubs or ports to oversee operations or resolve critical issues.

1. Experience: 5+ years in key account management within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain

2. Skills:

a. In-depth knowledge of logistics processes (incoterms, customs regulations, freight documentation).

b. Proficiency in logistics software (WMS / TMS) and CRM tools.

c. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment.

d. Chinese speaking is plus

3. Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
