The Position Objectives:

Working under the daily direction and guidance of Operations Manager/Principal and supported by the Regional IT Manager / Regional Director of Technology, the Senior IT Executive will manage the IT department’s internal customers (staff, students and visitors) in incident and problem resolution, including productivity software support and follow up ICT requests.

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for the school network infrastructure, servers, and workstations. Deploy/install, maintain, upgrade IT equipment and standard applications for staff and students.

2. Ensure the network is operational and appropriate back up protocols are implemented including a disaster recovery plan.

3. Manage and maintain software licenses, upgrades.

4. Manage hardware warranties, service contracts and replacement cycles.

5. Manage all network cable, Server Room, Technical Rooms, ICT Labs to make sure all cable and relevant equipment are properly labled, tidy up and safe.

6. Manage and update version for all laptops, ViewSonic, Epson and other software.

7. Maintain an accurate inventory list and ensure proper storage and management of all physical equipment and tools. Prepare and Propose IT Budget, manage and report when .

8. Coordinate with IT Team and AVA Technician in manage and operation AVA .

9. Ensure data is stored securely and is always accessible (e.g., business continuity, disaster recovery and system back up).

10. Monitors and reports on network performance and usage, internet bandwidth.

11. Train users on correct and efficient use of hardware/software applications and ensure that it is compiled to the organization’s IT policy.

12. To work with the Regional IT Manager on IT Operations, Projects, Maintenance system to make sure that all are compliance with ISP Group and Region.

13. To work closely with the Landlord’s Maintenance Board to ensure proper maintenance and timely repairs of the provided CCTV, car parking, clocks, bells, and other related systems.
To fulfil any reasonable additional responsibilities as may be from time to time requested by the Managers.

Professional attributes

- Fluency in Vietnamese and English

- A strong understanding of a wide variety of personal computing equipment and software, including networking, system, security, and ITIL Framework

- Good knowledge of both computers and Apple products, Microsoft 365 System

- Ability to follow manuals and read complicated technical instructions in both Vietnamese and English

- Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment including, personal computers, printers, projectors, photocopiers, etc.

Qualifications and Expertise

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

- Microsoft Certified Professional (Windows Server, Windows 10/11) is preferred

- CCNA, MCSA, MCSE or equivalent preferred such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, VMWare, …

- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365

- ITIL Knowledge is preferred

- At least 2 years’ experience with desktop, laptop, apple devices and end user helpdesk support
