Senior Investment (Equity/fixed-Income)

JOB PURPOSE: To support the development and execution of investment strategies through in-depth research, analysis, and financial modelling across both equity and fixed income markets. The role focuses on listed equity analysis, valuation modelling, and active participation in fixed income investments, including credit assessment and deal engagement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.1 Equity Research & Listed Company Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive research on listed companies across sectors, including financial performance, business models, industry dynamics, and competitive positioning.

• Develop investment theses and provide actionable recommendations supported by qualitative and quantitative analysis.

• Monitor market developments, corporate disclosures, and macroeconomic trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.

1.2 Fixed Income Investment & Credit Analysis

• Conduct credit analysis on corporate bonds and other fixed income instruments, including issuer financial strength, cash flow stability, and covenant structures.

• Support sourcing, evaluation, and execution of fixed income deals.

• Assist in portfolio monitoring, credit review, and risk assessment of fixed income holdings.

2. Valuation & Financial Modelling

• Build and maintain robust financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, etc.) for equity/fixed income investments.

• Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate investment risks and returns.

• Support portfolio managers with valuable insights and portfolio optimization analysis.

3. Investment Strategy Support and Others

• Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies aligned with portfolio objectives.

• Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for internal committees.

• Track portfolio performance and provide regular updates on holdings.

• Assist in cross-functional works, inter-departmental projects (if any).

• Other tasks/requirements by the management.

Education

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline (e.g., economics, finance, accounting).

• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, FRM) are highly preferred.

• Local Fund Management certificate granted by State Securities Commission is a must.

Experience

• At least 3 years’ working experience in investment analysis, equity research, or asset management.

• Strong exposure to listed equity, credit analysis, and financial markets is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Business level English language skills, strong verbal and written communication.

• Technology skills (e.g. AI, data analysis) are preferable.

• Highly analytical and detail oriented.

• Critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret macroeconomic indicators; Deep familiarity with Securities law, corporate governance standards.
